To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to extend a very genuine thank you to your wonderful team at Marriott McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona. If is not often enough that one is recognized for their efforts in customer service; in this particular case it is the entire team we would like to acknowledge! I am a Hilton honors member and felt the need to express our recent satisfaction with Marriott.

We pre-arranged a group event for the weekend of December 5th and 6th for which 9 rooms were reserved. Our friends and family arriving from across the country were aware of the surprise 50th birthday celebration but were unaware that we were also getting married that weekend.

Adil Gozum was very helpful in putting me in touch with Che Sutton in order to arrange food in the lounge area for our 20 arriving friends & family Friday night. Che worked with me by phone and offered suggestions of what might be most appropriate for our event. He also arranged a personalized private area for our guests to gather and mingle, he arranged a server, (Roxana who was fabulous) to host our area, and displayed the five selections of horsd’ouerves beautifully. The service and the food exceeded our standard and expectations!

Prior to my arrival, I communicated with the Concierge, Felice, in order to put some spa and shopping ideas together for our guests. I couldn’t have been happier with Felice’s responsiveness via email and phone in providing the requested information. Felice is truly a fabulous professional and our guests were very pleased with their appointments!

Lastly, a gentleman by the name of Charles was very, very kind and efficient in arranging the shuttle for our party to be transported to various locations, including our event Saturday night! From the minute we arrived at the hotel, his friendly attitude and greeting set the tone for our entire weekend!

In our many years of travel and hotel stays I must admit our stay at the Marriott McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona was the trip of a lifetime. Not only because of our birthday and wedding celebrations, but also because the excellent staff at this location pampered each and every one of us as valued guests. Friendly, professional, attentive with an eye for detail are all what make this Marriott team incredibly special, head and shoulders above the rest! We look forward to future Marriott stays!
